EDIT: The new and improved(?) Mei pic! Forgot to shade the mesh parts - the fabric covering the abdomen and that cut-off tights thing on her upstretched arm - but I think you'll survive. No longer feel it has a place in scraps, so bugger off if you do XP
From a Ranma 1/2 fanfiction called 'By any other Name' I began years ago and probably will never put out (although my homepage holds an unfinished draft of the first chapter). I still like the characters though so I still draw them. At least Mei. I like Mei.  FACTS Name: Mei James Nationality: Chinese-American Age: In the picture she's 20. Ish. ..... Aw to peepsqueek with it, here's an excerpt from the first chapter so as to describe her better: His first impression of seventeen year-old Mei James was that she could clearly take care of herself. And she wasn't happy about the prospect of working. Her short black hair was streak-dyed nuke-red and electric- blue and stood spikily in all directions. Her grey-blue eyes were framed by heavy eyeliner and were hard as stone as she surveyed her her new surroundings. Her face was surprisingly free from piercing apart from a glittering eyebrow stud, but her ears looked like they could set up shop as a jewelry store; hoops, chains and studs glittered and gleamed on her ears. A typical rebellious American teen as far as Mousse could see. Or so he thought until he saw the hilt of a knife sticking out from inside her jacket... |
